Huronview Home For the Aged
Huronview Home For the Aged was built in 1989-1990, and has a facility in Clinton and one in Brussels, Ontario. The facility in Brussels consists of 62 extended care beds and 20 alternate housing units. The Clinton facility consists of 120 extended care beds and 20 alternate housing units. Both areas share a common lobby entry, although the apartments have a separate entry as well. The plan features open, sunny areas with corridors defined by columns on oak bases while the exterior details reflect the local residential environment.
Although this facility was designed and built a number of years ago, it has recently been listed as an 'A' facility by the Ministry of Health. This reinforces the firm's commitment to designing for the needs of the residents.
